Broader vision for youth empowerment
The training is part of broader national efforts to enhance the role of youth in Eritrea’s socio-economic landscape. NUEYS has been engaged in multiple initiatives to equip young people with essential skills in leadership, education, and vocational training.

Additionally, topics such as technological literacy and environmental conservation align with ongoing global trends that influence local realities.
Youth participation and future plans
The program’s organisers stated that similar initiatives will continue to be rolled out in different regions, with the aim of reaching more young people. Participants expressed appreciation for the training and highlighted the importance of such programs in equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for their future roles in society.
NUEYS officials reaffirmed their commitment to expanding training programs and working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation. As Eritrea continues to prioritise youth development, such initiatives are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the country’s future leadership and workforce.
