According to the notification, the Commission stated that all business owners must now provide additional details before completing changes related to business name amendments, statements of particulars, or related filings. The Commission explained that the new requirement will support verification and ensure that data submitted reflects the current status of the business.

Updated process

The Commission confirmed that business owners will now be required to provide new “means of identification”, contact details, and supporting information before their requests can be approved. This update affects individuals filing on behalf of enterprises as well as those representing registered companies.

The Commission noted that the adjustment aligns with its plan to reduce incomplete filings and prevent disputes arising from inconsistent records. The new requirement applies immediately to all pending and newly submitted requests on the portal.
