Start Innovation Hub has announced a N40 million commitment to train Nigerian youth in digital skills. The investment will fund over 200 full scholarships, with additional slots offered at discounted rates.

Industry-led training approach
According to CEO Hanson Johnson, the programme takes an “industry-led approach” involving real-world projects and mentorship. “The strong interest from the public reaffirms the hub’s mission to build a globally competitive tech workforce,” he said.

Boosting economic participation
The curriculum is shaped by global trends and local industry needs. Johnson noted that the initiative would “boost economic growth, lower unemployment, promote innovation, and position Nigeria as a competitive player in the global digital economy.”
